For new construction, our clients may come to us in different phases of the process. Many already have land. Others don’t. We can advise you along the way to ensure the property you select is a viable choice for the home you want to build. Once a property has been secured, the land development process can begin and continue parallel to the design and planning process. For instance, trees and brush can be removed, roads can be cut-in, utilities established, perk tests approved, wells drilled, etc., all before the plans have been finalized.
Setting your project on the right trajectory begins with an initial budget discussion. It’s important to have financing in place before the designer digs into the building plans. You want to make sure your plans align with what you’re resourced to build. Before we break ground, we’ll develop a budget and schedule to be approved by all parties involved.
Through the client portal, you’ll receive invoices on a schedule, you’ll know exactly how decisions are affecting the actual budget and you’ll always have access to an updated and accurate projected cost of completion.
Through the years, we’ve developed relationships with some of the top designers in the region. After our initial meeting, we can connect you with the right architects, engineers, home designers, interior designers, etc. who will be best suited to your vision. We will be available to them throughout the process should any questions arise.
Once the plans, schedule and financing are approved, we’ll break ground and construction begins. Our team will be on-site working and overseeing the work performed by other trades. We’ll meet with you weekly to provide updates and to keep the project moving along. Through our client portal, you can participate in the process and watch the progress.
